SnoopWall Files Second Patent

SnoopWall has filed a second patent for online protection and family internet safety.

NASHUA, N.H., May 12, 2014, SnoopWall reached another patent milestone this week with a second patent filed for US and worldwide protection. “Parents are having a tough time configuring their mobile devices for ease of use, increased security, and privacy for their teens and younger children. They wish to avoid several risks including texting while driving as well as managing budgets and behaviors.” said Gary Miliefsky, SnoopWall’s Founder and CEO, “SnoopWall has come up with a unique way to fix this by automating the configuration of these devices around user privilege, location, and behavior.” This new patent filing will leverage SnoopWall’s already existing technology for protection any mobile user.

This patent filing covers the intelligent automation and crowdsourcing of best-practices for privacy, security and family safety.

Unlike traditional antivirus and firewalls, SnoopWall provides a different approach to protection. SnoopWall delivers counterveillance, by blocking remote access, eavesdropping, spying and snooping maliciously on desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. Where antivirus and firewall technologies dig into packets and payload, this new technology protects the end users from high risk data leakage. This is done by refocusing the protection mechanisms where they are needed the most, such as at the webcams, microphones, Bluetooth devices, near field communications (NFC) hardware and other points of weakness. These can also now exploited by the latest malware and cyber criminals.
